Milkcrate Powerpoint presentation

Milkcrate Presentation

In the Fall of 2004 I was asked by the Industrial Design department at University of the Arts in Philadelphia to speak. My presentation, culled from powerpoint, is available here for your viewing pleasure. –> View milkcrate lecture here. The presentation was a hit, and the students asked a slew of questions afterwards.

NBA Team Icons, part 8: Washington Wizards history

NBA Icons, Washington Wizards history

The people have spoken. The public at large asked for historical team logos. So, this is the next evolution of this icon series. Part 8, The history of the Washington Wizards franchise. Again, this is not the last part of this icon set. Download them for Mac OS X >download. And for all you windows fools, I have finally given in and created icons for you fools also. These are optimized for Vista too, damn! Download them for Windows >download. A huge thanks goes out to Chris Creamer’s sportslogos.net, his archive of logos and detailed info has been invaluable in creating this icon series. Also LogoShak, has been super helpful.

Good & Green: two web hits

Desktop Tower Defense

One website called this flash game the best game of 2007. Not just ‘web’ games, but better than Mario Galaxy, Halo 3, and others. I have to admit this game is amazing, addictive, and hard as hell. I’m still stuck on “normal”. It reminds me of Rampart, Tetris, Pipe Dream, and Missile Command all at once. Play Desktop Tower Defense here.

A Little Bit Greener

My co-worker and pal Brennen Lukas has been hard at work on his new blog ‘A Little Bit Greener‘. It’s all about small changes in lifestyle to make our world better. Check it out, do some good.
