Roots Culture Connect: Title Animation

Roots Culture Connect is an upstart video site featuring original content with an honest straight forward approach. After the identity was established I was asked to translate that into motion for the intro of every video on the site. Visit Roots Culture Connect.com.

Fallen: Lose Your Illusion Microsite

Every year, Transworld Magazine holds the Skate & Create contest. Four companies are invited to create a video and pictorial for the magazine. Doing this contest is a huge undertaking with weeks of planning and execution. The public usually only sees the end result of this, so I helped create the Fallen: Lose Your Illusion [...]

Roots Picnic 2010 Poster

The Roots Picnic has become the premiere Summer event in Philadelphia since it’s creation in 2008. Legendary hip-hop acts come together for a day-long show on Penn’s Landing. It was an honor to be asked to create the poster for the event. You might also notice some lineup changes from concept to final.

Bank of America HTML E-Mail

I worked with the internal creative team at Bank of America to create dozens of HTML Emails for a variety of events. I did not create the original templates, but I did help design additional versions, test compatibility and refine their functionality across platforms. Each job was a process–involving working with copywriters, image research, design [...]

GPTMC: Tourism Monitor 2007

In the Fall of 2007, GPTMC’s annual research report was being developed. In years past, this report existed as a Microsoft Word document and was regarded strictly as a research report and not something useful in corporate communication or for consumer use. The decision was made to take the great content and present it in [...]

Uwishunu: Hip Hotel Makeover Presentation

Uwishunu.com was looking for a way to tell the story of their hotel room transformation (at the Westin, Philadelphia-sorry the room is now back to normal) from a standard room into a completely custom, artist-created, one-of-a-kind hotel experience. Using images from in-house photographer Jason Smith, I created a flash-based tour of the room including the [...]

Sampla

Sampla takes the classic ‘Name That Tune’ game and flips it into reverse. The player has 30 seconds to identify a ’sample’ and determine which hip-hop song sampled that track. The game pulls 10 songs at random from the library and the faster the user guesses correctly the more points they score. Illustration by Josh [...]

The organizations goals go beyond that to encoraging the trade, sale and distribution of zines and hope to establish a long term history of zines. Skatefall!

Skatefall! is an homage to David Crane’s Pitfall, the hit Atari 2600 game by Activision from 1982. Skatefall! merges the fundamental gameplay of the original and mashes it up with skateboarding. This flash game was a labor of love and took many months of “free time” to create. Once the game was released it bacame [...]

AND1: Rise Microsite

The AND1 advertising department asked me to interpret their tv commercial into a microsite for the release of the AND1 Rise shoe. Using elements form the commercial and print ads, I created a quick hitting animation that led to a microsite featuring additional elements of the Rise campaign. See the microsite.
